tomtom proudly presents:

	Hughes D-500 Helicopter - Magnum Style - V. 1.1

now with working lights and corrected reflections

For SA only
Author: 2 free body models
3d ibrid models by de Espona

Note: I'm not the author of this great model, the author is de Espona, as you can see above.
I took the models from Drago, who built them for SA. As you can see, it's a mix of 2 models he released - the Hughes D-500
Helicopter and the Hughes OH-6A Police-Helicopter. I welded the best parts of the 2 models in one to get the best result.

I take no credit for this model whatsover.

INSTALLATION

For installation use IMG Tool 2.0. This program lays on any site about GTA in section of "tools".
Having opened gta3.img (is in the folder models in the catalogue with game)
remove files sparrow.dff and sparrow.txd and ADD command insert files from archive.
further we open "Notebook" a file vehicles.ide (a folder data), we find and we replace a trace. A line:

vehicles.ide
469, sparrow,	sparrow, heli, SPARROW, SPARROW,	null,	ignore, 10,	0,	0, -1, 0.7, 0.7, -1

open handling.cfg and replace

handling.cfg
SPARROW 5000.0 20270.8 0.2 0.0 0.0 -0.1 75 0.65 0.9 0.5 1 200.0 16.0 5.0 4 P 5.0 0.45 0 30.0 2.0 0.15 0.0 0.50 -0.20 0.5 0.0 0.30 0.75 45000 2004000 400000 0 1	0

last open carcols.dat and replace

carcols.dat
sparrow, 107,74, 6,86, 126,53, 3,14 ...and other colour combinations you like (max:8).

colours:
First I changed all entries for vehicles in the carcols.dat with no. 107 to no. 77 (nearly the same, you will not see
a difference in game). Then I created a new col 107 to get the 'orange', which is needed for the helicopter to show it in
Magnum-Style.

213,93,35 # 107 pinto orange orange

The same I did with col 74, original entries went on no. 45.

new values for col no. 74

255,190,24 # 74 pinto light yellow yellow

The way you change the colours depends on the cars you have already installed. You can use your own method to get the new
needed colours, but please don't forget to backup your files!

Do not forget to rebuilt archive.

Now you can go for a drive and have fun.
